Abstract: It has been reported that arachidonic acid pathway was intimately associated with the development and progression of numerous cancer diseases. However, the precise roles they play remain unclear. This review is to give a brief introduction of the roles of arachidonic acid metabolites in cell proliferation and apoptosis, metastasis, angiogenesis and inflammation of tumors.
